question about warranties
well, i know they won't cover your car if you have a sound system. but if i take everything out except for the wires ( i.e. subwoofers, amp, hide the power cable... ) would they check the car to see if you have wires, such as search the interior?? and damn it, i need a maintenance done, i'm a couple k miles overdue. or should i just give up, because i have the car dropped on H & R's and i have an intake done on it. what do you guys think?
If a dealer gives you a hard time about having a upgraded stereo then go somewhere else. and as for the Springs... same thing unless the upgraded products in your car cause a failure of a stock piece then there should be nothing for you to worry about or the dealer to complain about.

You don't mention having any problems with your car that need a repair (that might or might not be covered under the warranty)... Am I missing something here?
no, there isn't anything wrong with the car. it's just that i need the maintenance done. and i was worried that if they took a look at the car, they'd remove my warranty because of some of my aftermarket parts.
yoshi- i'll take a look at the distance, thanks for the recommendation.
well, actually, in my first post, i was just assuming they'd cancel the warranties. because i thought it would be counted as messing with the battery and whatever they could think of to screw you over.

A warranty doesn't get voided when you install aftermarket parts. It simply excludes coverage for fixing any problems that are caused by the aftermarket parts.
There's no reason to worry about anyone seeing that you have aftermarket parts installed.
