Has somebody ever noticed if some stock B-series sleeves are a little "off-centre" in the aluminium jacket?
I mean that if you look onto the deck that the iron sleeve is a little thicker on the one site than on the opposite?
For example 1.7mm at 12 o´clock and 3mm at 6 o´clock ...
Thanks

Ok, I understand. You mean the 0.02"overbore trough the cylinder was off-centre from the middle axis of the sleeve?
Are there any experiences in how far this is critical?

It almost appears as if the cylinder is out of round. It's certainly not normal, at least in all the motors I've build, I've never seen it. It may happen to some small degree, but none that noticeable to the naked eye.
