Truck 2tone/POR 15 Questions.
I know this is kind of a weird subject but this is what I am planning on doing but I have a few questions. this is what we are dealing with.

As you can see, my truck is part Green and part Gray/Silver, and I'm in the process of painting the Gray/Silver portion. I'm trying to get rid of the chrome as well. I already painted my grille and front bumpers flat black(sorry no pictures but shitty cell phones not worthy of posting).
So here's my options.
A. Take it to Maaco and have them flat black it, it's cheap and easy. I haven't had issues with Maaco.
B. Sand it down, primer and rattle can that **** like my grille and bumper.
C. Using POR15 on the lower portion and repaint my grille and front bumper and use it on the nerf bars and rear bumper as well. I have used POR15 before and have had good luck with there products.
In case some of you don't know, Dodge trucks are notorious for rusting near the bottom of the doors. Hence the reason to using POR15 . POR15 is a rust prevention product on the market. A lot of hot rod people use this for the same reason I plan too.

Now if I do go with option C, should I use a spray gun to apply it or could I use a paint roller?
I'll probably have Archidictus helping me what do you guys think? If you think there are other options out there, please post up and tell me.
Thanks. I'll post some better pictures tomorrow of what I've done and keep everyone posted.

What do you mean by a top coat? On POR15's website there are Single Part Topcoats. Here's the link.

blackcote is not sensitive to uv rays like the other por 15 products. make sure you know which you are buying... if you get regular por15, it is sensitive and you need a coat over it... hope that helps
