Im going to get a new fuel filter but acura is 35 miles away and there is a Honda dealer around the corner. Anyone know if the fuel filters in a civic si are the same as an GSR/ITR

i'm going to say that they're not.. but i'd still check, because I don't have physical proof that they're not..

call acura and get a part number and then call honda and compare it to the one they have..

why are you replacing the fuel filter, just wondering. There isn't really any need to normally.

The fuel pumps are the same. Wouldn't see why the filter wouldn't be. All else fails call both shops and get the part numbers or check AEM and see if there's is the same for both.
Later.

Replacing the fuel filter is good maintenance especially if you like to let your gas tank run low. It can get clogged over time and they are not that expensive to replace. I replaced mine a few months ago and it was a breeze. I like to keep everything in my ITR fresh
