Speedometer works off and on... ('95 Civic EX)
I just got a ticket this weekend for ten over! All because my stupid speedometer works when it feels like it. All the years of street racing and dare devil antics and I get a ticket on the highway for ten over!
Does any body know what I should check?
I am assuming a wire must be coming loose because it works most of the time, and then it will jump up to like 100mph and back down and all over the place and then stop.

check the VSS connection on the tranny. Look stright down below your throttle body. Due to water/dirt sometimes the connection gets flakey oevr time.
