Default 2000 Honda Accord Vtech V6

Is there anyway to upgrade the ignition? I went to the MSD and Jacobs web sites( Same company I think ) and they all say that I can't upgrade. I want better performance in my daily driver. I don't want a large exhaust as this is my family car. I thought a MSD 6A was ideal for better performance and mileage but it looks to be a no go. Any suggestions?

I can see you are new so I will be nice, go to the upper right side of the screen and click on SEARCH, do two searches in this Accord forum, one in RECENT and one in ARCHIVED, plenty there and much more in the other forums, happy hunting, you should find exactly what you need.

I wouldn't waste my money on the ignition. I can't really see you getting much of a gain for the money you'd spend. Get an intake. Gives you good sound when you hit the gas (not even noticeable when you are driving normally) and decent power.

People have more problems with MSD crap and Hondas than positive experiences haha.

Most stock non-COP Honda ignitions prove to be good up to ~400hp anyway. IMO, ignition upgrades fall into the 'supporting mods' category. They don't necessarily improve performance, they just support other serious mods.
