k20Z1 eg supercharge??

Default k20Z1 eg supercharge??

I have a k20Z1 currently being swapped into my eg coupe , I'm gonna be workin my way into the autocross scene and I was wondering if I should use an 06+ supercharger or should I swap my bottom for a k24 ?? thx. guys any info is well appreciated

With the swap, you'll most likely end up in Street Modified. This class has a displacement based weight limit. FWD are 1550 plus 125lbs per litre. If you run the 2.4 block, you'll have a minimum weight of 1850lbs. If you run the 2.0 with the SC, your minimum weight goes up to 1975. This is because forced induction "adds" 1.4 litres to your displacement. For 2009, there will be a 200lb weight limit reduction for all Street Modified cars running 275 or narrower tires on all 4 corners. This will permit you to get down to 1650 for the 2.4 and 1775 for the 2.0 with the SC.
