Default crx brake guru need some help

I bought a 91 crx si that needs brakes so i took them apart and the passenger side only had one pad and the caliper was shot from being pushed out to far. So heres my problem, I went out and bought new rotors pads and a passenger side caliper.
When I bought the pads I compaired the new ones with the old ones and they where different. Than I went to put the rotor on and the hub is to big for the rotor. So my question is did the guy at AutoZone give me the wrong parts or do I have some kind of brake swap? On my crx the calipers where grinded down and I don't know if the other owner did it for a fitting reason or cosmetic reason. I'll post some pics and I hope you guys can help.

I had the same issue...well with brake pads not matching. When I went to buy pads for my 91 si. I think there are differences between models.

Im not sure if this is true for the crx si but the hatch si stock brakes do not have a bracket that goes over the rotor that setup looks like the brakes off and ex or a DA integra the calipers should have some sort of casting numbers on them which can give you a better idea of where they came from

you got the right pads and caliper for your car, the previous owner swapped for integra calipers/knuckles tho.

thats why its grinded down too, to fit his 14" wheels probably.

you should just have DA knuckles, and calipers. because thats all you need to do the swap.

just curious, did you physically hold a civic EX and DA pad in hand and see they were different?

i thought they were the same, but i never physically compared. just assumed they were....

thats really odd because the part numbers for the EX and DA rotors are the same...
http://www.norcalcrx.org/tyson...t.gif

http://www.slhondaparts.com/br...7-A00

http://www.acuraoemparts.com/d...ch=no

and so are the brake pads...

the previous owner did something weird or the parts store is not giving the right parts.

either way, it looks like you got a working system at least.

but im pretty convinced the EX and DA brakes are the same.

the part numbers show them to be the same. i know the calipers are the same. the pad have to be the same. i do remember checking myself now.

NON-EX sedan rotors are different than other crx and civic rotors btw. actually smaller diam slightly, but thicker, more meat.

i really dont know what you have man.
