That's right, there was 1 entry for comp 4 at this event. Payouts were for 1st-4th place! So if ANYONE else had entered comp 4 they would've gotten the $ for 2nd place at least!!! AND contingency $ was decent too: $300 for altezza's, $300 for intake, etc...

Fred Highland (hope I spelled it right), it was good meeting you. Damn, I can't believe you drove your car all the way down here from Maryland!

He ran 13.1 easily, with a dc header and 15" slicks in 90 degree heat and 90% humidity!

I guess the rest of the East Coast guys went to the Battle instead?

Anyway, I'm gonna run next time for sure! It sure gives me some renewed faith in allmotor 4cyl.....

Hey dont leave me out. If I was still all motor I would give you a run for your money for 2nd place. Remember, we have the save 1/4 times!

 

What were the 2nd times. If TJ is saying he'd be in the running then I guess before my car killed itself I woulda been right there as well hunh? I actually was gonna enter this weekend if my car stayed together. Next year hopefully i'll be done with it and I will enter then.

 

.....nobody took home 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc simply because nobody else entered comp4 but Fred. So he took home 1st. He could've run a 30 second 1/4 mile, redlighted and still won, because there was nobody in the other lane! lol

A bone stock 86 civic dx would've placed 2nd!

And I don't think hybrids can run comp4... I need to check the ndra classing again.....

who ran a 13.1 all motor?I was there but maybe I left too soon? I did see the pro all motor integra run a 11 something. I left around 6 or 6:30 saturday. i didnt see any of you rockheads out.

 

I was there with a couple friends...the fastest I could run on street tires was 14.6 w Civic HB Red(White Hood) GSR Swap.
