thank you! yes the type 24 is taller and a tad bit longer. If you get the IC specified for your car, you will not have a problem fitting it on. I was very surprised to how precise the craftmanship was.

As far as painting the IC- it doesnt inhibit cooling. I know a dozen people with it painted and non of them have ANY problems what so ever.
