Default b18 with s366...

what do you guys think?

thanks to b18bturbo for most of the parts came from him,
xenocron, and other turbo guys here who helped me figure out stuff when it gets confusing.

***after sometime staring at the engine bay, s366 doesnt look that big. need to change 'em to 372. 366 spools freaking fast!!! very streetable.

^youtube link.

we weren't able to drive it correctly. we only ran it 4 times 18-20psi and ran 11.3 with 2.0 60ft. bad huh? lol. will take it to the track again this november hoping to run low 10s or hopefully break it into 9s.

engine is 82mm bore b18c. s366.

we will try to boost it a little higher next dyno. hopefully make a little less than 700 with it.

borg rulez.

now i need to change the turbo in my sohc and make it s200.

got it turbo master.

it was kinda unexpected we saw 1bar @ only 5trpm with s366,. i always thought it spools later than a gt35. it is often compared to a gt35 right? i can say this turbo is faaar better than a 35r. no doubt. one thing i dont like with this, is that it comes in an ugly box. while garrett packaging is nice. lol

we will redyno again bcause the axle gave up on the first pass @ 30psi. so it wasnt tuned yet at that boost level.

why would you go that far and still have an 82mm GSR? 84x89 would have been my choice on a car like that... nice car though...

yeah. a 2L is obviously the better choice. but 82mm darton sleeved was lying around. so we just made it into good use.

of course. hehe

block has
darton 82mm sleeves open deck
cp pistons
eagle rods
and stock b18c crank.

head is puro b18c type r. except for s2 valvetrain and gears
the rest, you can see in the enginebay.
we're running dual walbros too.
spearco air-water ic.

the 3bar map sensor limited us to boost higher. i'll post the dyno graph soon, we'll hit up the dyno in a week or two. it should be somewhere in the 600s.

Looks fine to me, if the radiator works stick with it. Good to see some lower budget HR cars making it out that look CLEAN. You can still make lots of power with that 82mm as well!
