zc swapped crx won't start
Ok, I have a 90 CRX DX. I did a ZC swap with a pm6 ecu. I converted the wiring harness to mpfi. It took a while for it to start but ran rough when it finally did. Come to find out I had a blown head gasket. I had the head completely redone, put on a new gasket, and put it back together, now it wont start, it acts like it wants to though. I just discovered that cyl. 2 and 4 arent sparking, and injector 4 isnt spraying. Its also throwing code 8 (tdc) sensor. I have double checked all the wiring and it seems fine. I have no clue what else to do. Any thoughts on this would be great!
Use this link to get your pinout for the ECU and check all 4 injector wires from the ECU to the injector, you should have less than 2 ohms of resistance at the plug. Also check the pins at the ECU to the dizzy and make sure you have the wires in the right places. Also check the timing belt to ensure that the cams are timed correctly to the crank. Also it doesn't hurt to check the injector wires to the resistor box if you're running one. From your problem statement it sounds like you've got a couple missed wires at the dizzy and a couple at the injectors. http://www.angelfire.com/d20/h....html
I have done some research and found that the colors on my distributor are different from everyone else's. I need the order of the wires. The one that is different is a yellow with a green stripe. Where does that go. Also there is no cam sensor on my zc. Just a black piece that says p30 on it. Where does this wire go and why don't I have a sensor? Distributor has spark inside of it and sometimes starts for a split second and shuts off. Cap is clear so I can clearly see all four contacts sparking. Its getting fuel b/c I can smell it after trying to start it. Any help or pics on this would be great
