Default whats the best way to fix this? F#!K rust!

I noticed that my rear bumper support was pretty risted when i first got the car as a shell and a few days ago i fianlly decided to take it off and so whats up... well heres the pics...









what would be the best way to go about fixing this?

grinder, cut-off wheel, & welder. I'd just use spare/scrap sheet metal as these aren't very cosmetic panels considering there covered with a plastic bumper cover, although they do play an important structural role. Make sure to use a metal conditioner before refinishing, or use a self-etching epoxy primer. GL

me personally i would get a new rear panel and weld it in, numba 24

alright thanks for the help... Im deffinitly going to order the whole panel from Honda... im all about fixin stuff the right way! have any of you actually done this your self? just looking to find out how hard its gona be?

Ehhh, I would say buying straight from Honda is going to be expensive. I would try searching the yards with a plasma.

well the problem with that is where i live my car is just about as clean as they posibly get without bodywork and paint. so the chances of finding that panel clean in a junkyard are pretty much slim to none. honda parts online wants like $185 for it and a few other peices. not too bad i think
