If you are running the stock PRB manifold, then you might notice a few gains with this. I would just suggest getting an RBC manifold. Larger plenum and longer runners. This plenum adapter for the PRB seems to be just a spacer.

P.S. - to my knowledge, I don't believe the RBC has a plate you can remove. I don't remember seeing it on mine, just FYI.
