was wondering if any1 with an si has installed these cams and what kind of power gains have u seen if u do have them. is it a worth while mod? i had my heart set on some stage 1 cams but my friend bought back his totalled tsx and said i can have his cams for free its an 06 by the way , i think they have better cams if im noot mistaken

 

the only thing about tsx cams that benefits our motor is the duration. i think i heard something about more power in the mid range. i would get stage 1 cams though if it were up to me. dont think about k20a cams. not worth it.

 

people have done it with mixed reviews, be careful if you do it because it is tricky to get them aligned properly. i heard that the gains were mid to high, but the guy lost power at the low rpms. ultimately you need to be able to tune your car with the new cams, which does not exist. there are cams out for our car that are designed for our motor that you would probably be better with, skunk2 and toda i believe have stuff out.

 

skunk2 does have street cams
crower has cams
so does buddy club.
i think toda only has them out for the rsx at the moment but its been a while since i checked
