1991 civic dx starting problems
I have a 1991 honda civic dx with the d15b2 and I started having problems starting it about two months ago. I have since replaced the fuel pump & filter, the alternator, and distributor. I finished replacing the alternator and distributor and the car started right up and drove fine until I shut it off and tried to start it after about 5 minutes and just cranked and cranked and didnt even act like it wanted to start. I checked for codes and it showed code 7 (throttle angle) and code 16 (fuel injector). I think it is the throttle angle sensor but I cant seem to find a way to test it or even a replacement for it, can anyone help?
Thanks,
Jon

Throttle angle sensor a.k.a Throttle position sensor TPS.
I think blox might make a replacement tps but im not sure if it works with the dpfi. You may need a new throttle body. Check out junk yards. They usually have many available.

code 16 huh? Does your fuel pump prime before you start it? I mean the main relay would have been the first thing I replaced before anything else. Technically I've seen a 91 civic run without the TPS even hooked up so it shouldn't keep your car from starting.
