265whp 175tq

can't say it's the cheapest way to get these number.....vortech kit cost over 4000$
and I'm not a fan of turbo so I took the supercharged way!
I reallly enjoy that rex now!

this winter I'm gonna change the SIR crank pulley for CRV... so I can get around 8-9 psi

Definitely not the cheapest, or the easiest. I can't imagine that vortech blower was all that easy to fit in that engine bay LOL.

Numbers aren't too bad. Friend of mine used to have a procharger in on his B16 that made 303whp. Linear powerband was pretty neat to feel in a Honda like that.

it fit tight in EF's engine bay!
hope to get little bit more power adding 4-5 psi this winter with crx crank pulley upgrade

linear? don't you mean progressive since the boost is built in direct reference to rpm?

I think all the JRSC Hondas will produce a near flat torque curve line and a completely linear HP curve similar to a Vortech anything beyond 3000-4000RPM. And so does any higher revving all motor Honda which does the same Nothing too special IMO because that's the ideal powerband. I am just surprised that this particular Vortech setup didn't have a rising torque curve though, and there must be a slight bottleneck somewhere in the setup.

hMM, making power through Froce induction is easy, as small increment in boost will result in big hp gain,

I thought that SC setup are for 2.5 to 3k max never new that Vortech is that expensive.

Any ways, making 250whps out of A Supercharged motor is easy then making through NA isnt it ??

what kind of power are you making

in the dyno above i think something isn't right with his setup im thinking the tq should continue to rise and maybe get flat at the end of his rpms

because with that system the more revs the more boost

No, HP is almost always linear on the SC setups. Flat torque curves through huge RPM increments. Building boost with RPMs for whatever reason never seems to affect that, I'm not entirely sure why.

Essentially makes the car feel like you have an accord V6 engine under the hood, I'm used to the 150 wtq increase in 1000rpm approach.
