Is there any reason why the car will not go into "programming mode"? I get in, I turn the key to II. I hold the programming button on the radio, and nothing happens. No lock cycling or anything. This car didn't come with any remotes, so I bought a remote so that I could have the keyless entry. Any insight would be great, thanks.

 

Are you following the procedure below precisely?

 

Yes. I do not get any indications that it is in programming mode, nothing on the radio, locks will not cycle. The radio appears to be original.

 

Is fuse 47, 28, or 14 blown?

Is the keyless remote connector plugged into the rear of the radio?
