Cwest/Spoon S2000 pic...
Finally got my Spoon calipers installed with my SW388s. It will again be in the upcoming car show. Car is very dirty though(sorry). We had just drove 20 miles in the rain up at North Shore.
Just a question...(spoons are nice)
but why not use the advan RGs since the Cwest kit and the RGs complement eachother?? Plus the Cwest S2k has the Advans.
just curious

HAHA, I knew you would respond back. Well to answer that question, I actually almost bought the ADVAN RGs in 18 inch and 17 inch. But I was told that they did not have the correct offsets for the S2000. So I blew them off. I know the Spoon fronts are way off at +35 but the fact is these are my all time favorite wheels plus I waited 30 days for these and 2 days for the calipers and they do tuck fine with a 2 inch drop. I have no rubbing what so ever. I cleared everything up on S2kI. I also ordered my clear side markers finally. I will have those on this Thursday. They just were not a priority.

My SSRs are actually lighter than the Spoons. They were 9.5 pounds in the front and 11.5 in the rear. The Spoons are actually 11.5 front and 12.5 rear. Thats what it says on the wheels. They are stamped "Made in Russia" and they also have all that Japanese writing on them.
haha what do you mean you KNEW that I would respond ...
heard youre coming back to the states.....we should definitely meet up.

We have another S2000 coming on the scene here in Hawaii. He is going all out and is buying everything. He will be hitting the streets hopefully at the August show. His speedcraft turbo wont be installed until the December show. So he will be stealing my light. LOL. He is a cool guy. I cant wait to see his skyline intercooler in that Cwest front. Its HUGE!
I got a very good hook up from RandD Motorsports in Virginia. They actually have another set here(Hawaii) at one of the shops and it retails for $1900. I of course did not pay that. Just shop around.
looks hella good, especially next to that 5.gay...
Nice S2000 by the way, looks sweet in yellow, but Im not a big fan of the colored lug nuts
Still
Actually my girlfriend hated it so I sold it but I will have another one on for the upcoming car show.
What hood is in store for your car this time? Man, I swear, your car is always evolving.
Question for you... What tire sizes are you running? I can't believe you have no rubbing issues at all. I want some Spoonzzzzzzzz!!!!!!!

haha, I am running the stock SO2s right now. I am going to be getting the SO3s hopefully soon. I just ordered the clear side markers from Ricks. I should get those in a week. Spoon AP1 gave me crap about them
I guess he ordered his too. But since I installed the rears I do have a slight rubbing problem on big pot holes and with passengers. I may be picking up the Recaro SRDs. Maybe...
As far as what hood just another new Fiber Image one. No biggy. I may even be painting my trunk a flat black to match the wheels...Whats next for you? Spoons? Really? If you do get those you have to get the monoblock calipers. Thats a must. LOL.
Anyway let me know

Hehe, nah... I'm just kidding, I'm not getting Spoons. If anything, I might sell my LE37T's and get some bronze CE28N's in 17". As far as brakes, I got sponsored by Endless, so I'm going with their products. I just ordered a complete set of Apexi gauges as well, should be in soon. I dunno.. I got lots more I want to do, just tryin to save up lil by lil to get them.
