2003 TL Correct radio code doesn't work.
I have entered in my correct code, that i've used before and it won't work this time. I googled this and it said I might have to unplug my radio antenna from the back of the stereo from the drivers side behind the carpet. I don't know which plug to pull, any help would be awesome. thanks.
The radio antenna is the single round black plug on the back of the radio, the plug is about 3/8" round with a coax cable (approx 1/4" diam). It is a pressure fit and will pull streight out the back of the unit with little force.
However, currently going on 21 years in the professional car audio installation business, I dont know what pulling the antenna from the head unit would change, interesting that was even mentioned. I would try to pull the negative from the battery for a while (1-2 hrs) and give it another go with the code. You also may want to inquire if that unit has a "lock up" feature, if the incorrect code was attempeted or the sequence is wrong, many units will go into a temporary lock out mode preventing any further attempt for 1+ hrs or more.
Hope that helps

hey, I spent a little bit of time looking for this cord from the back and i don't think I'm going to have any luck. Do you know how to remove the deck from the dash all together? Would this be effective in trying to unplug this antenna? Thank you.
http://documents.victorytechno...0.pdf although I am no sure how unplugging the ant. is going to help, I would try a "reboot" first, disconnect the batt., [neg.(-) terminal] for at least 1/2 an hr, then reconnect and try again.

The antenna is nearly impossible to reach from the back, but as I mentioned, dont feel it will help in any way except skinning your knuckles. If the battery trick we mentioned above doesnt fix it, here is a link to instructions Click on PRODUCT INSTRUCTIONS and it will download detailed pics and how to, I use the site often, comes in handy.
