Default Pic of My hatch

Well this is my 95 cx. Its high compression ls-v with ctr cams, itr tranny, aem cam gears, hytec4-1,msd, and some other small stuff to the motor. The bay has been tucked and shaved including brakes, jdm thin molding, spoon lip kit all around, ground control coils. Has teg dash and itr interior( working on gettin it all). I just wanted to see what you think and remember im not done just started. (pic has been lowered i tiny tiny bit but its the only one i got)

Not bad...I don't really care for the center wing and the rear lip though...nice color, is that captiva blue?

whats with those holes in the back bumper is that your exhaust? or is it to help some kinda air flow or some speakers or some $hit?

its the only thing im seeing that looks kinda tacky but the rest looks good!

by the way welcome to the site!

hmmm i guess that would be something like driving with the tailgate down on a truck which is also said to ruin gas mileage!!! something about the way the truck is designed to have the air go over the bed so it never really drags on the tailgate like people think it does.

i guess to each their own

I agree im not a fan of the mid wing nether but whoever painted it didnt paint under the wing so it stays. The car did run 10's which is why it had the stupid defusers. Look on youtube under hb-vtec. The car has zero dents no scratches but i do agree the back was over killed.

High compression LSVTEC There's a Bisimoto prototype B-series header for sale right now at Bisimoto.com. It's badass. (and it's used so it's cheaper)

This was proven by the Mythbusters. They are specifically designed so that when air flows around the cab, it collects just behind it, making a kind of small pocket of air. This small vortex behind the cab keeps the rest of the air flowing around/over the cab out of the bed. If the tailgate is down however, this vortex never forms. Either way, the difference in gas mileage doesnt differ greatly whether it is down or up, but its smarter to keep the tailgate up anyway.

The more you know! lol

Ditch the lower wing and it will be ight. I still dont think those "holy" bumpers look good unless its on a 10 second car.

I like the hatch a lot! I personally think the mid wing is a good touch bring ol' school back. The car is clean and has the power to back it up.
I just don't like the "ebay mugen s0 jdm" front lip.
