trying to find a good 4-1 header for my 95 SE h23 that doesnt cost 800 buck-a-roos, if anyone knows of a quality one that isnt as expensive but still holds its own that would be awesome. If not, would you guys say if the Love fab all motor header is worth every penny? HP gains? sound? tyvm cheers

 

btw, just read up on 4-2-1 vs 4-1 and i've seen that 4-2-1 is better for mid range power? is this true!? if someone could clarify the difference that would be A-OK number 1

 

OK let me rephrase my question, looking at a 4-2-1 header for a 92-96 Prelude h23 and need to know

a) which brand would be recommended
b) where would be a good place to get the said header for a good price

You could buy a DC sport header if u live in an emissions state. Ur from florida, so unless u want ricer bling, hit up Ebay. Type in "h23 header".
But any aftermarket header is gonna be lighter, and slightly better flowing than the OEM header

Megan Racing also make headers for the H23A1

I can't honestly remember if they got into manufacturing H23 header's though. But they do make pretty decent quality at a fair cost.

Ill look around and see if vibrant does any h23 headers

 

cool, thanks for the info you guys, was looking into some smsp headers, which look like the best really, and came to find out David, or Danny? forget just got an h23 head and had begun fabricating some headers for the H23's. Should be good, just gotta wait a month or so : /. I'll check out vibrant and six sigma in the meantime though.

 

we just bought ractive headers (not sure if thats the name brand) i didnt look at the name brand too much but its a header and downpipe!!

well we traded something for the headers so we gave a WORLD RECORD LOW OF $1.27 USD for a header and downpipe..

i think 1.27 doesnt even buy a gallon of premium so a permenant 4 hp is worth 1.27 to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ill also vouch for megan headers. I like Megan, its a decent company. Just modify the collector on that and your good
