I need some 96-00 EX and HX Civic coupe owners (insurance related)
Searched and only got results concerning about SI's.
I am thinking of buying my first Civic and trading in my crappy car.
Option 1:
98 Civic EX, manual, 130K miles - $5000
97 Civic HX, manual, 150K miles - $4500
This is at a general auto car sales place so they're both clean titles. My question is, how bad is the insurance for the EX and HX? I was just curious to how much you guys were paying for them.
I currently own an Accord, flawless record (clean), no accidents at all, I only drove it a little over 10,000 miles for the last 2 years ever since I bought it.. so I dont drive that much. I was planning to get liability but I'm not sure if you guys recommend getting full coverage. The Civic pretty much looks like a stock car for now and I'm planning to keep it that way and use it as a daily driver. I'll definitely add stealth security on it before I start modifying it though since it will always be parked in front of my house.

dude first off those prices are rediculous !, a 97 ek with 150k miles should sell for 2900 at the MOST, and a 98 ek wth 130k should sell for 3400 TOP dollar. i have a MINT 00 si shell for 3000, buy a b16 for 1500 bucks. and youll have a perfect 00 si for 4500
