i had already posted on this subject and was impressed by two people comin out of the blue with info...unfortunately the info i was directed to dealt with placing the correct head onto the wrong block. i have the original block ( d15) in my 91 crx and want to put a d16z6 vtec head on it. i already have the complete head, vtec solenoid, intake , throttle body , fuel rail, injectors, gaskets. i still need to find the correct distributor, water pump , p28 ecu, and 92-95 engine harness. i really need some good info on how to properly perform this swap, also info on how to change the rings( can it be done without removing the whole engine) ..i would love to know if there are any links such as the ones that the guys who replied to me sent that deal specifically with this swap....anyone know ?

 

well first of all you dont need the harness you should stay with the stack harness or have it converted over to si and have all the vtec wires wired in you dont need to change the water pump the rings are easy to chanbe even with the motor in if you need i do have a friend that builds motors and if you do change the rings you best to change the bearings to.

other wise stay with stock harness and do the conversion by hand
