Default High flow cat, is it worth it?

So far i have an AEM v2 and a apexi ws2, i was thinking about completing the setup with a smsp header and high flow cat. I was just wondering, is a high flow cat really worth the money? is it that much better than my stock cat? my stock has never been changed so should i just swap it for a high flow anyway since its getting old?

to me, if you're going to get an smsp, why not take a farther step and get a nice big fat cat to go with it. only 100 bucks or so.. money aint a thang

If you're going to drop that much cheese for an SMSP header, why are you worried about a $50 cat?

To answer your question, Yes, it is worth it. But, you should replace your entire exhaust system, not just the cat and header. Piping should be enlarged to 2.5" or more with no bottlenecks (like a stock cat).
