Default Clutch Problem

Have anyone ever experienced this situation : I installed a new Exedy stage 1 clutch and an 8lb. ultra-light weight Competition Clutch flywheel when I did my motor swap. That was about 6 months ago. Is there any reason why every time I drive my car for an extended period of time the clutch starts to slip? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you already burned it up bro.

Did you break it in?

Yeah. At least I thought I did. I know everyone has their different methods of breaking in a clutch. So I'm just wandering did I break it in incorrectly. What is the "normal" break-in process?

Everybody has different opinions on that, I usually drive it easy
for the first 500 miles.

I blame it on the flywheel personally, put in a stock flywheel and drive it nice for the first few days, and I bet it is fine.

It's in my 95 Prelude. So hopefully that'll answer alot of questions. The pedal engages at the very top of it. I baerly have to press it to disengage it. It's alot higher than my 92 with the same setup.

prob just wore it out. 92 hondalude haveing you clutch peddel set incorrectly can cause ur clutch to ware pre maturely? when i put my act 6 puck and 8 lb fly wheel in we couldnt get the peddel to stiffin up even after pumping and pumping. my guy messed with the peddel a littel but that didnt do anything. i guess it was left the same. my car had gone threw a good amount of clutchs. (they have been cheap clutchs and the act is still half life) but maybe that was the reason. right now it grabs kind of right below half way is that bad? sorry for stealing your thread
