hey all

firstly Wohoooooooo got my my engine to turn over and start tonight! after much effort's managed to get the d15b in and everything *kinda* running done this on my dx, bit of a mission with all the wiring tank, fuel pump and so on.

however..... the car turned over first time after not being ran for good part of a year and a half at least! with the finishing touches and trying to drive her everything was going sweet, pulled out my road through the estate the onto the main road, tried to pick up some speed still driving like a bit of a granny to be honest, going easy with her, then as i was picking up speed she started to splutter and finaly cut out. wouldnt start. fiddled with the air intake as it sounded like she was struggling with fuel/air. taking the air feed all off got her started!

also once covering my hand over the air feed the engine management light would go off, then come back of when i took my hand away.

then once giving her a bit more to get going same happened again! im thinking its the lambda sensor using the sensor off the d13b2 carbed engine the plug for the d15b is a one wire, read some about 4 wired lambda's, anyone shed any light or any possibilties? thinking that it could also be the map sensor?

just checked CEL

20- Electrical load detector
41- Primary oxygen sensor heater

 

replaced primary o2 sensor, reset ecu, still same CEL codes coming up, any help ?

 

any suggestions at all?
