My jdm b20b head is a P75-5 and the intake mani is just P75. my 90ls head and mani are PR4's.

I'm just trying to figure out if my b20 mani is the exact b18b intake mani or some derivative. Are these codes unique like block codes (b18c1, b18a, d16z6...)

Yes. and B18B and B20B Int Manifold are different.

that giraffe mani in the pic is from the USDM b20b and some jdm b20b's. Other jdm's came with a low rise "ls style" mani, like mine did. I'm just trying to figure out if it IS the ls mani or if it just LOOKS like it. The right side one in the picture looks the same as mine.

Actually, even my 1995 B18B has a PR4 head. But my B20Z has a P75 head.

 

I just took the intake mani's off both my '90 ls and the b20 and what a difference in port size, a good 1/8" taller and wider for the b20. I took some measurements up the ports (with my handy dandy telescoping guages) and the b20's is consistantly taller, but the width is about the same through out. Looks like a similar deal with the head ports.

Kind of a funny thing, everyone says that the b20b intake mani is the tall giraffe style like its a rule, well my b20 mani is significantly lower than my ls one. I wish i could use it, tho, but i'm not interested in the headache of figuring out the vacuum hose routing. The new one just doesn't have all the outlets that my car is looking for.
