oki so i switched the head on my hatch d15b1 (had nastsy lookin valves)
so know that i switched the head im not gettin spark to plugs and plugs smell like gas,what could have happened just from switchin the head please help i need my car its my only car and my dd

 

Mechanical timing, valve adjustment, vacuum leak, under fuel injection, over fuel injection, ignition timing, compression too low, rag stuck in intake or trottlebody, something not plugged in, something plugged into the wrong socket x2, should I continue, which car year do you have and what do you have to test with besides your eyes and nose please.

 

91 std hatch.and i have basic tools and eyes ears and nose,car sounds like it trying to start way to hard,head only has 46k on it from a wrecked civic

 

u replace the head gasket ?

 

no spark check ur rotor on ur dizzy it might of came lose ???

yes i replaced all gaskets

 

you might have a bad ignitor or coil did u check those yet

 

sorry for the double post but mine just shut of out of no where and it was my ignitor that went bad its just one of those things lol

 

im new to hondas ,were is the igniter??and how can i tell if its bad??well know it back firing almost every second,and hopw do i time it??

 

your ignitor is right next to the coil inside the dizzy cap and try a coil first it is a simple easy fix
