i have a 91 si with koni gc setup with extended front top hats, the konis are sp3 one. rides great, no caddy but real nice on full soft, and if you wanna tear up some smooth curved roads just turn up the firmness. spring rates are 400 fr and 350 rr though i might go to 450 front and put the 400 in the back. ride height in the front with my setup ALL the way up, my tire is just about even wheel opening. im also running a prgress rear bar and all mfactory rear supension parts. hope this helps

You should be fine with the PIC Apex coilovers if that's what you're interested in. I'd suggest the 8k/6k spring rates for a daily driver, although 10k/8k may be tolerable since you're in Southern California.
