BB6 type-s flush mount spoiler HELP
i saw several members on h-t that had the flush mount spoiler on their 5th gens, and from the first moment i decided i MUST have it. now i do have it, but was not aware that there is an extra bolt in the middle of the spoiler. there are a couple things i need some advice w/....how did you (members w/ the flush mount installed) go about installing the spoiler? drill a hole? how big? i even thought about just cutting that bolt/screw off, but decided to wait. i also need to kno how the brake light wires were harnessed....my 2001 prelude had the stock spoiler so i figured it would be a somewhat straightforward installation considering i already had holes pre-drilled for my stock spoiler. i dono....i guess im just lost...or unsure. dont want to fawk up....trying to do it right from the start. i would like to do this myself....if that helps. any advice would be appreciated. thanks in advance everyone.
i drilled the hole for the screw and a bigger hole to feed the wires through, which i cut in half and spliced back together on the other side to avoid having to drill a huge hole for the plug at the end of the wires.
thanks. my cousin lives in san jose....he saw a prelude at a mcd's and fell in love w/ it....now he wants to buy my car. sorry kinda off topic.....thanks for the advice tho....really. im gona get that installed this weekend hopefully...
