my car barely started and won't rev over 3k????

haha, you gotta give us more information. check engine light on? what gas did you put in? any weird noises?

 

everything is fine. well the car wasn't warmed up yet so maybe the ecu isnt letting the car rev past 3000 till it warms up because i turned it off and then turned it back on and it warmed up and then it revved past the 3000

 

it should rev up to 6 regardless of how warm it is.

well i just got it diagnosed and it had a problem with the crankshaft and that caused 3 other problems. Its not my car its actually my friends car. I was trying to get as much info as I can from him but he couldn't tell me much.

 

i had this same problem before on my old car. it was an ecu problem right after my street tune. i had to have the program re-installed.

in your case, it could be bad ignition coils????
check your spark plugs
