i have a 91 crx with a d15 motor which the head has finally taken a crap after 256thousand miles. i have aquired a d16z6 v-tec head with intake, all sensors, throttle body and gaskets . other than needing the p28 ecu, a distributor to match and a 92-95 engine harness does anyone out there know what else is needed to make this conversion? i would greatly appreciate any help locating info on how to perform this swapo and any of the "little things" that end up needing to be done to help do this....please help i love my car!

 

I wouldn't recommend putting the head on your worn out old block unless you throw some new rings in there, otherwise it'll be burning oil pretty quick most likely. You should get yourself a D15 with less miles on it or put new rings in yours.

Read those... They are all different in certian ways but all refer to doing the mini me swap.

hey , when i opened these threads you sent me i noticed that they were dealing with swappin a d16z6 head onto a d16 non vtec block...do you know of any that specifically deal with putting this head onto a d15 that is in my 1991 honda crx...also any articles on ring replacement would help a ton.
