any DIY on putting them on or making the brackets ?? i just baught some but no brackets or i have no idea how far to cut .. anyone ?
i believe they mount on the metal bumper support. or you can get the brackets off a 88-90 prelude oem fog lights modify those to fit. see where it lines up to then cut. on my 89 civic bumper on the inside it said Bosch or standley or piaa i forgot but theres a cut out for the fog its 4x6 kinda big... good luck
oem crx brackets for the usdm model.....

if you have the metal bracket that bolts the fog lights, then you can search on ebay and look for the guy who is selling and making the replicas. only down side to those brackets is that you need to mod the bumper support. it needs to be notched because the jdm bumper support is different than our support. im thinking of having a place around here fab up some of these for our usdm cars. oh and if you go with the usdm brackets the civic 3D/4D mounting part is different than the ones from our crx. i know because i have a clean set of mounting brackets from a 4Dr and they dont fit my crx.

from what i remember on my 89 HB there were 2 outlines on the back side of the bumper. 1 outline was for the bosch foglights and the other for the stanley fog lights.

what i would do in order to make the bumper lights "light up and blink" is i would just tap into my corner lights. one of the bulbs on the corner lights stays on and blinks. but that would be a quick fix.
wait so ull have run the negative and positve wire to the one corner light that stays on constant and blink ?? because i tried that and it only stays on and makes my rear turn sinlas on constant .. or do i have to cut the wires off the socket from the bumper liht and run it to the corner ??
no, here is what i did with the side markers on my ej8 coupe.
i took the +/- wires from the side marker and tapped into the + side of both my turn signal and running light. so in other words find both the positve wires from your corner light bulbs and tap the bumper lights into those.
this way my side marker lights are always on when i turn on my lights and when i turn on my turn signal they still blink.
if your still confused lmk, it may sound off but it works.

yeah post them up /// .. ok so i went and did that bumper light thing .. the first time i spliced into the constant and blink and it just keep it on and my rear turn signal on constant too .. the second time i just ran the + wire to the blinker and nada ..
guys..if you want ur bumper lights to stay on and at the same time blink. all you got to do is get the socket with pigtails from and 92-95 civic corner light...hook up ur original two wires to the two wires from the new socket..and the third wire left fromt the new socket run it to the turn signal...finish product should stay on n blink at the same time...i have them on my ef and have no problems...n yes the sockets bolt right up to the bumper lights...
