Ipod "skips" (stock radio)
(I drive a 2002 Civic Si. Stock headunit.)
I bought an Ipod hook up last summer from Circuit City (plugs into the back of the unit, also charges the Ipod). Maybe once in 2 minutes it'll "skip." It kind of sounds like when a CD player skips but it's not when I hit bumps and sometimes the rate it skips increases (sometimes so much I turn the radio on). It's not the Ipod - the Ipod keeps playing during skips and it only does it in the car.
To use my Ipod, I need to switch to aux (CD changer). I find when it starts skipping, changing the "CD" channel or whatever immediately stops it. Channel/CD 4 seems to skip the least. Anyone know what's up?

My guess is the iPod adapter has a glitch, it would be the first thing I would check, have CC replace it, if that does not solve the problem then it has to be the HU.

I don't know but I'll bring it in and swap it with another.
