Hey everyone,
we just picked up a 03 ex-l v6 and i notice a slight fuel smell.
Almost like a line from the evap system is loose. Any ideas?

Also i notice it takes a few cranks to start, but from reviews i've read thats the nature of these motors.

Any info would be appreciated.

Theres a service news out about replacing the fuel pressure regulator for an extended crank problem. Adobe is shitting the bed so I cant pull up service manual diag procedures.

 

if you can somehow get or direct me to that it would be appreciated.

Would this also cause the fuel smell? I can smell it at start up and some times when comes to a stop.

It's very slight, so i don't think it's a fuel leak.

 

For some reason I can't get on to Hondas webpage at home. I actually replaced the fpr on an accord at work for a long crank issue and I assume it fixed the problem havent seen it since.

Are you positive its fuel? I would do a visual inspection under the hood and if you can underneath teh car by the tank and evap system. I;ll see if I can find anything else.
