Default 2004 CPO Berlina Black S2000, 34k mi w/mods = $24,965 obo

edit: Holy **** I can't belive I wrote this much. Maybe I AM too attached to sell lol... no but seriosuly full disclosure of every thing remotely possible or having anything to do with this car below:

Alright guys I've been toying with this idea for a while and I'm not sure this is the best idea in the world, but the NSX bug has bit me and I can't start searching for the right one for me until my S2000, aka: "Ese" has found a new loving home.

Asking price: $24,965 including everything described below....
Year: 2004
Mileage: 34,xxx
Berlina Black
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Some background:

I bought this car from Classic Honda in Orlando a little less than a year and a half ago. Certified Pre Owned with 23,000 miles on it. Apparently the previous owner of the car was one of the service managers from that particular dealership, so all the maintenance was done on time.

I should also note that I used to work at this dealership and I still know a lot of the guys there and as a result I know that the sales man and the sales manager wouldn't screw me over with a **** car.

In addition to the CPO warranty, I purchased an extended 'aftermarket' warranty directly through the dealer that should have the car ocvered till 2011 or 100k miles. I have to check the records to be sure of those numbers but its something rediculiously long like that. That warranty cost me $1500 roughly and is completely transferrable to whoever purchases the car.

The majority of these miles were put on going to Gainesville FL to visit the girlfriend a few times, and Orlando to visit my grandparents before I obtained my Prelude to use as a DD.

The rest of the 11000 miles I put on it are taking it down to Miami maybe once a month or so. For the most part its a garage queen that pretty much never goes anywhere other than whats listed above, and taking it around the block every few days to keep the juices flowing.

I Daily drive my Prelude and have been using that to put mileage on for those long trips to gainesville orlando and tampa in the last 6 months.

Service History
:
I only have the records from when I owned it of course, but like I said owned by a service manager and only worked on by my honda dealer local to me, its in great shape and has no problems at all that I'm aware of.

I recently paid honda to do thier 30k mile service so thats already been done.

A few months ago the convertable Latch ripped a hole in my top, and the dealership paid to have it replaced, the whole assembly, not just the fabric. I had to pay $50 of the bill in order to get a 1 year warranty on it, so the whole top assembly in addition to all the other warranties on it should still be covered for at least a few more months beacuse i know i'm no where near the 12k mile warranty on IT.

Modifications Included in asking price:
Wheels:
I know to many s2ki members this would be a negative rather than a positive, but it is what it is. I like em' and I'm hoping my buyer will too----- The car has 18" Work Varinaza Schwert SC2 Wheels. I can get the exact specs if anyone wants it. They fit perfect on the Espelir (OEM Shocks/Struts) drop. No rubbing no nothing. I unfortunately do not have the OEM wheels, so the asking price includes these wheels. If the buyer wants a reduced price without the wheels he'll have to bring his own 5 lug wheels, or I can take into consideration locating him some AP2 V1 wheels. On the WORK wheels, are tires in pretty much new condition, the car has barely been driven for about 3-4 months maybe 500 miles tops on it.

I spent about $2800 or so including tires etc... on these.

Body:

The car has an OEM AP2 lip. I caught it on one of those parking blocks and it ripped it. It'll cost about $100 to fix, and is fixable, and the pics below show it. I haven't fixed it yet beacuse I haven't had time, barely drive the car, and its really almost not even noticable unless you look

It also has an OEM Rear Spoiler, (not the wing, but the one that hugs the body)

The car will come with the INGS +1 Replica Rear Bumper and Side Skirts. If you dont like them, I still have and will include for this price the OEM Rear AP2 Bumper. That bumper was recently repainted by the same shop that painted my 81 Corvette and they did a wonderful job. I drove around about a week with it before I put the INGS bumper on, so the OEM bumper is literally brand new fresh paint. Full disclosure-- my roomate's girlfriend scrapped the bumper when she was trying to back her car out of my drive way hitting ese. It didn't bend or dent the bumper at all just scratched the paint. Instead of getting it 'fixed' i just had them respray the whole bumper.

I got hit by a motor cycle about a year ago (there are pcis around the forum if you want to search my screen name) it took out the left front fender. No frame damage, it was a motor cycle relatively low speed. They coulda banged out the dent in the fender but im a perfectionist and made the insurance replace it with a new OEM fender. Paint matches perfectly, can't even notice it was replaced. To be clear, there is absoltutely no frame damage, and didn't affect anything other than the body panel.

The Rear bumper respray was about $300, (i know a rip off but they do great work) The INGS replica's cost me about $500, with another $150 for a body shop to put it on for me. The front lip itself cost me about $150 and the rear spoiler cost me about $100 plus $80 to paint it Black.

ICE:
I have in this car a JVC KDW-AVX33 Headunit. It has a 3.5" DVD screen built into the unit, Bluetooth, MP3, USB, AUX inputs, etc... Nice unit.

I also have the modifry adapter to make the stereo controls work but I honestly never even got around to installing it and never really missed it since the headunit comes with a remote. But it will be included brand new never installed ($90)

Its connected to Polk Audio Compoentns int he front. I also have speakers in the headrests, One is an alpine Type R Coax, and the other is a Pioneer Coax from my old TSX. (I blew one of the Alpines and didn't want to have to replace just the one speaker in the rear with a new set of rear coaxes) Sounds great to me and can't notice.

I also have a spare tire tool well Sub Box with an alpine Type R 12" sub in it, and an MTX mono 300watt amp pushing it. Sound in the car sounds amazing. I know that this car naturally produces great sounds but I like my music and hearing it loud and clear with the top down at 70mph was a must for me.

Full Disclosure: Personal taste, I'm not racing this car, I drive it to cruise around and just enjoy the top down experience. Therefore I hate rattling from a subwoofer and dynomatted a lot of the car. Some of you will hate this for the added weight, some of you will appreciate the lack of any rattle at all from the sub; and enjoy the nice sound with or without the top down.

It wouldn't take much to rip out the dynomat if you dont like it. But i'm not gonna do it for ya for the included price.

I also have the OEM radio and speakers. including an AUX MOD that will allow you to plug in any MP3 player and use it as the CD Changer on the OEM radio.

I can't remember the break down of the cost of the stereo but it was close to about $1500 for everything brand new.

Interior:

Not much to really discuss here, the carpet is in perfect shape, the OEM mats always had Plastic Walmart mats over THEM so they show abolutely no wear.

Always garaged so the dash and steering wheel show no fade. Always has a thin layer of armor all to protect it when the top is down etc... but never gunked on blinggy. No scratches on the console etc...

The driver side seat has a little wear, but I'll challenge you to even see it without really looking at it. Passeenger seat is pristine.

Other mods:
Other than the Espelir Springs that Drop it to get rid of the wheel gap, no slamming here... (Springs and professional install were about $250)

I will also include the Convertable top down cover (teannu? sp?) that is still in the original plastic and never used.

I will also include the OEM, Genuine Honda Accessory Car Dust cover, the one with the s2000 logo on the front and that fits the car tighter than OJ's Glove. (this cost me about $150)

Thats it. I haven't modded anything on the motor or exhaust or suspension otherwise. the car has all kidnsa warranties and I didn't want to give anyone a reason to dishonor any of the warranties at the dealership.

The car has been driven very calmly, I never race it, I usually just take it out for a nice weekend ride or going out with the G/F to a club or restaruant in miami. Always Valet parked in good spots. I mean if theres ever been a car thats been babied, its this one.

Ok so I've written my life story above trying to fully disclose everything I can think of.

If there are ANY questions feel free to ask.

I have two original Keys and Remotes, and the Owners Manual etc...

I want to sell it like I said beacuse I only have a 2 car garage and I can't fit my Prelude, S2000, AND and an NSX in the garage. Plus I can't afford the NSX without some of the money from the equity in this car to go for a downpayment. ;-)

All this being said though I'm not in a rush to sell. I haven't found the NSX of my dreams in my price range yet and I wont tempt my self by starting to look before Ese has found a new home. I'm not gonna be pushed into a situation Where I'm just going to be giving it away. Its too good of car, too babied, and too well taken care of for that.

With everything included listed above, and the extended warranties etc...

Kelly Blue book says: Retail is $23,625-- Private Party Value= $20,305.

I will ask for the value split down the middle of that-- $21,965 ++ $3000 for the Wheels/Stereo/Extended Warranty/Body Mods.

So my final Asking price is: $24,965 OBO.

I'm open to offers but will not entertain any low ballers. Theres a lot to work with here given the mods but I'd really like to make this as easy as possible and sell it altogether and not part it out first.

I'm willing to ship but the buyer must arrange all of that and basicalyl just tell me where to drop the car off and hand the keys to.

Any questions, any requests for more pictures feel free to post here, PM me, or e-mail me at: starbai@gmail.com

LoL yea the LP is definitly going on the NSX.

I'm negotiable on the price if I keep my mods.

Or some mods.

If I took my stereo out, (and put the OEM one back in) I'd go down to $22,965.

If I took the wheels and stereo out I'd go down to $21,000 and I find you some AP2 V1 wheels to put on there.

Or $20,500 and you bring your own 5 lug wheels to put back on there.

If I took the INGS Parts off there and put the OEM ones back on I'd drop off the asking price another $400 on top of those figures above.

Remember no matter what its still rediculiously clean, very low mileage, and I'm bascially giving away the 7yr 100k mile warranty on it.
