Default My New Lude I Picked up for $1300

whats up everyone im new here and just thought id show everyone my 1995 prelude i just picked up a few weeks ago.. ive wanted a lude ever since i turned 16 but here are some photos, the car is in pretty good condition besides the interrior plasitc was ALL yellow wen i got it, but luckley i found a honda junkyard with a fresh lude that gave me all my plastics i needed.. the motor has 170000 on it and still runs strong.. has a few oil leaks that need to be checked out, and CV axels so nothing too major. tell me what you think.. im looking to build this car and turbo, feel free to leave me sugesstions, right now i cant decide if i should go with a stroker kit before i turbo or if i should go a different route.. im looking for at least 400hp out of this car, thanks for the help!!

wow...that car looks great. i think a 1 inch drop to close a lil of the wheel gap would make it look perfect. i love the all black tho...thats what i'm hoping to have done to mine soon.

400 hp is a lot of power I would take things one step at a time. I don't know how extensive your background is in hondas and tuning but you might consider doing a little research on what is involved in high hp builds like that. I would recommend reading through the FAQ here and get a little more familiar with the car and look at some of the build threads that members have done.

Car looks great! You def want to read the FAQ section and know what you are getting yourself into. With 170k miles u will have to replace a ton to put out 400hp. What kinda motor is in it currently? Hope you enjoy your prelude! Welcome

thanks for the posts guys, and it has the H22a1 in it right now and yea im planning on doing a full rebuild on the motor, and buy a back up motor too, i found one in my area for 1200 and its already rebuilt with no miles on it, new timing belt and water pump.. yea im not to famillar with hondas but i have a few friends that are top mechanics, most give me **** because they have evo8s and evo9s and cobras that run in the low 11's but ive always loved the ludes since i was 16 and this one just kinda fell into my hands.. i bought a 2004 r6 in may and am already planning on selling it for some extra cash!!
