Default 94 Accord Drop

so i have a 94 accord, 4 dr, 5spd, :D im looking to drop it but im low on cash, ive looked on ebay and seen that they have coilovers for like 60 bucks, so i was wondering if theres anybody here that has bought these ebay springs and if they had trouble with them, i also heard that if u get crappy coilovers your tires will bend in and they will wear out really fast, so im just lookin for some clarification, and i hope someone gives an i idea of what i should do.

thanks
aldin.

I have them on ... don't lower your car. The ride quality sucks and I feel every crack in the road and I've cracked my radiator a few days ago on a pot hole on the highway. I have it dropped like 3 inches. The springs are wayyyy too soft.

Go with Skunk2's or GC's. Any other "coilover sleeves" I could recommend staying away from. Comming from personal experience, you really don't want to go cheap on these coilovers. I also hope you are not planning on dropping your car on stock shocks. =/

Those cheap ebay coilovers were my first set to drop my cd5 when i first got her. Rides sh!tty azz hell. Go with Tein S Tech and Blue Tokicos HP. Thats what i have and i loved it. Rides nice for spring/shock combo.

I had ebay coils with stock shocks and they blew in a week. I rolled with them for like a couple of months and it's like going off road every second. Since the shocks were blown, the control arms kept hitting the chassis and made bang bang noises. It was annoying as [freak]. Just go with springs/shocks set up. If you want to slam it, you have to go gc/skunk2 with at least illuminas.

I got the ebay coilovers and dropped it like 2-3 inches and I like it. It works pretty good, like oblivion2kx said though they are really soft.

I would say if you are looking at a quick drop for cheap, go for it. But I would still recommend going for something a little more pricey.
