Default jdm frontend conversion

for people that did the conversion, did you use the stock hood latch cable?

nope... the us hood latch cable is to short. You need a DA or jdm DC cable.

you can reroute your cable from the wheel well through the firewall. It will also help keep from thieves.

I used my jdm latch... and a special theft-proof relocated hood cable

you can also use the 92-95 civic hatch rear hatch cable with the original latch...

oh yeah i have a question too if u dun have the bumper support and the reinforcement bar can u still put on the jdm front end??

ummmmm i wouldnt advise that. i dont even think you can without those parts.
and that is pretty much the ONLY thing protecting your conversion, so you should defintiely invest in those parts.
the USDM reinforcement bar is MUCHHHH bigger/thicker than the JDM reinforcement bar...makes the JDM re-bar look like a freakin toothpick.

nothing will hold up your bumper and the grill without the bumpr support..

I know someone who modified their core support to fit the jdm front it came out clean but eventually fell apart

I'm using the stock cable. Don't ask me how my body shop did it since I was out of the country. What I heard that he had to extend it by using some type of adapter and another cable. to extended it.

Just go out and buy a DA cable.

indeed true, bumper and grill mount on the support

use DA cable like others said, u can reuse your latch tho
