Default r18 clutch/tranny questions

couple of questions for you guys...

07 EX coupe w/ 30k miles

1. so i think my clutch is slipping (maybe clutch chatter)? does this seem right
scenario: im in first gear at a light. light goes green and as i give it gas, my car will start shaking/vibrating, sometimes violently, so i do one of two things. push the clutch back in and redo and clutch release sequence, or i just keep going and eventually i "grab" and i go. sometimes when i shift to second, my car wont go initially when i give it gas as well.

2. has anyone done a transmission drop on an r18? my mechanic, trustworthy; my parents and i have taken our cars to him for over 20 years, says he cant do it b/c of the way its designed and that honda has to do it

#1 happens to me also.

didnt use to happen when my car was stock. or when i had my intake + exhaust. but now that my exhaust is off and only having my intake on its really bad. so i think it has something to do with that.

in for more responces

mine kinda does it also. but it doesn't shake very violently. Just a little bit of vibration/shaking

i did one at work, there is enough room to move the trans to the right without hanging the motor or removing the cradle, its tight but its a fairly easy repair for someone with mech. expieriance
