Yes this is correct...The quickest way to tell is to look for the factory sunroof. Also, the RS does not have power locks, ABS, or cruise control, and the side moldings and mirrors are not painted from the factory. IMO the RS is a nicer (and def. lighter) platform to start with if you plan to make a street monster. If you just want a nice daily driver that has all of the amenities, then go with the GS, LS, SE, or GSR.
