Default second honda in six months

Guys ive haven't posted in a while???? Well it started in April, I had a honda Accord Dx 89 4 door model i was slowly restoring it,fix oil leak, put new tires on,
had nice rims 15" working on the system(had two 10" orions red) in the trunk.
Life was starting to be good.Well in April i had a wreck, bent the a frame, So
i needed a new car, my mechanic ,(honda mec) told me he had a 91 honda civic for sale, but it needed head work??? So i paid him for the head work, then it happen
to be the radiator ,so he replaced it,So i drove it one day and it stop on me,found out the disrtibutor was bad,we replaced that,so we got it running and then the ignition started smoking so i paid him for that, and then it caused the starter
to be bad.So i bought another starter,So i drove it one day,and the motor locked
up,he told me he found metal flakes in the oil pan, also the starter bracket broke
and the flywheel got some teeth missing from when i was driving it and it stoped on me. It's been six months since ive paid him the money for the heads and i am not driving yet,i had to turn in my tags, and stop my insurance.
So i am getting another motor,from texas(found a six months waranity,40thousand
miles on this motor..So whats the next step once i get it in??? Because i don't know for now... Once i get a chance i will get some photos of the car now,and latter after body work i will do on it.... oh it's A 91 HONDA CIVIC DX

it sounds like someone let the motor overheat and it caused damage to a lot of other things. You need to make sure that you use as many of the parts from the new motor as possible. Also check all wiring to be sure none of it is going to fail on you (melted insulations, corroded looking wires, ect) and make sure that the new motor has a new timing belt, water pump, thermostat, and the radiator is in good condition and the fans work when they are supposed to. All these basic maintenance items will prevent a lot of problems that older cars like ours commonly have. Good luck and don't sweat it, you just had a bad seller who didn't want anything but to make money off of you.
