Seats dont Recline Up Straight
well the title prety much sums it up, I thought you could never recline your prelude seats at a 90 degree angle but last week I somehow did it...
then this past weekend someone reclined my seats backward and now I cant get them to go straight again
anyone ever have this issue or have any suggestions as to how to fix it

There are only 4 bolts holding the seat in. I think they are all 12mm if memory serves me correct. They are all located inside the car, not hard to find. Take them out and get the seat out of the car to give you room to work on it. Then there is a plastic cover that goes over the mechanism that makes the seat recline. Just pull the handle toward the front of the seat and it should pop off. Then you can get that cover off. It should be pretty self explanatory as to what is wrong once you get the cover off. How complicated can that mechanism be?
If I were to guess, some debris (coins, pen cap) got lodged in the gears and now it won't budge. Pull the seat out, turn it upside down, and shake it. Something might drop out.
My brother had a similar issue with his seat, except it would slide all the way back.
Hopefully it turns out to be something simple.
