My little brother sent me this pic on Friday night. Sorry for the poor quality, its taken with a cell phone obviously.

Car had red wheels w/polished lip and wearing Cali license plates. Picture was taken on I-395 heading South. Anyone here?

Just curious to learn of where the car was going????

 

The sad thing is that my initial reaction is, "Was this car stolen?"

 

I threw that out when i saw it was basically still daylight. Although at the rate at which these disappear, you are always left wondering.

 

Looks to be red rims. Gabs maybe? Red with polished lip though, definitely.

 

Looks to have the Mickey D's color scheme going on.

after looking at it a little more, I don't think it is.....

also wondering if it was stolen, I don't think they would hesitate stealing it in the daylight with a tow truck

There was a PY with red wheels/polished lip and a JDM front up for sale in Cali for the longest time. Was on cars.com and autotrader iirc. Not listed anymore. Could be on its way to a new owneR.

those are not volks in the original pic they are like gt3's or gabs

 

the car came from sacramento i think, it was on autotrader not too long ago for 15,000, boosted...

yea the car is from sacramento, sold to a new owner, on its way to a good home.

 

Care to share additional information? Are either the old owner or new owner HT members? Where was the car being shipped to? You don't need to state a specific city/town, just curious thats all. Thanks for chiming in though.
