Default buying integra. what can i use

so im buying a 91 integra this weekend has a bad auto tranny. but runs really well. what can i all use to out the b18 in my 91 hatch?
i kno i would need the shift linkage. and i already have the 5spd tranny. and i know i need mounts. im running the pr4 ecu for my d16a1. but can i use the auto axles fpr thr 5spd tranny?
what can i all use from the auto tegg to make the motor 5spd and put it in my ef.

I can't believe no one has said the brakes!

if you are going to just part this thing out you can use the seats, every brake piece- use the master cylinder - rotors- pads - calipers - e brake cables... steering wheel, half shaft, steering rack

almost everything is inter changeable

Don't buy the Integra, buy a DOHC ZC instead.

You should use the front and rear brake assemblies the master cylinder/booster (if its not abs)and the proportioning valve.

For the engine swap you will need:

5spd trans
motor mount kit
shift linkage
wiring (if it is not si model or already converted to mpfi)
axles(I dont think you can use the auto axles but I may be wrong, haven't worked with auto much)

You dont need much its a very easy swap!

i'm not sure, but it sounds like you plan to use your 5 speed from the d16...that won't work. you'll need a b-series transmission, axles, and new mounts at a minimum

no i have my 5spd tranny from my old integra. so it would be plug and play?
i converted to mpfi already. i have a d16a1. iin a very little way like a dohc zc.
i also have a dohc zc sitting in my garage that just needs the main cradle. the thing that holds the crank on. other than that t has jg camgears and a rebuilt head and new rings.
i just wanted to go the b18 route beacuse i dont really feel like messing with the
zc and i would have everything i need prettymuch off the b18 and later if the motor is ok i would juist go ls/vtec for a while.

Since all the above already been discussed (Some electrical, hubs, mounts and brakes.) Basically you wanna snag the ecu out of the TEG as well. If your car isn't OBD1 already you wanna look into a obd0 to obd1 conversion. Especially if your TEG motor is a GSR VTEC engine, the ECU will cover the DOHC VTEC part. You're gonna have to chip the ECU to Manual 5speed as well as its factory chipped as a Automatic or you can just buy one from somewhere already factory speced manual dohc vtec or LS (Non-VTEC). Whatever it is.

Good luck man. You can find a lot of good websites for these type of things, but I believe they have some EF swap info here at honda-tech if you look in the 88-91 CRX/Civic forum and at one of them sticky's.

Good luck man,l not hard job to do, but thats after you do it a few times.

Oh and btw, if the cv axles don't fit the manual transmission, just turn them in for a discount at your local auto parts store for a remanfactured one. They won't be able to tell the difference especially at Autozone, but basically all they need is a core, and it'll knock out a big chunk out of the price.

youll need some mounts from hasport or any other name brand ebay has cheap mounts if you are on a budget hasport b mounts are at the 300 plus price range and as for the moter u want to change the timing belt water pump oil pump while it is out to give your b18 a fresh front end. as for the ecu just get a ls or gs ecu and do obd0-1 if not already done other than that its just instalation

okay thanks for all the imput.
swapping out the motor wont be hard. i mean i had to build a custom mount for my a1 swap. and thats a dohc.
and im running a PR4 ecu 5 spd so i already have that,
these are the things i got from my old integra before i sold it.

5 spd tranny
ecu
linkage ends cause the kid cut them he wanted the rear crossmember and started cutting stuff.
and a cut motor harness from the b18
has all the clips just cut before it goes inside the car,.
stage 3 clutch.
header
high flo cat
gauge cluster from the 91 teg
injen cold air intake ( but i prefer the stock box )
and a couple little things.
im just trying to make a list of everything.
and im on a real budget build.
i can get free axles by exchanging them at my Orileys auto
but thanks for the good info.
a 92 integra is obd1?
im used to obdo so i gotta learn a little about that,' [=
thanks

you can use the auto axles they are the same. but the mid shaft is different. you will need a 5spd mid shaft. I have one if you need one.
