Default lowering and front sway bar..

i drive my car mostly on the street but plan to do some auto-x in the future
right now i have a 91 civic hatch, H&R sport springs + kyb agx shocks, and a 22mm sus tech front sway bar, no rear sway bar, pirelli p7000 supersport 205/45zr16 (also have another set of pirellis 195/50/15 that i'll most likely use), i've done a search and i was wondering where the lowering point would be to downgrade or remove the front sway bar as is mentioned in several post, the advertised drop on the springs is from 1.5-1.75 would this be enough to consider removing the front sway bar?
i'm also questioning if it would be wise to add a rear lower tie bar (cusco) i'm not too sure if these actually are very functional..
thanks in advance

i'm assuming that u have either a standard because u have no rear bar. i suggest u get the rear lower contrl arms from either an EF Si or crx. they have the holes for the rear bar endlinks to connect to. then get a rear bar like 22 mm. and u'll be good. then u could take out the front, but the car will be very loose. so be careful. i don't think u have enough spring to go w/o swaybars and honda's seem to like a rear one. i autocross a stock std and it takes a little doing to get it to rotate w/o a rear bar, but its possible. i even spun it this past weekend (at an autocross)

so running 22mm in the front and rear should be good without "race" springs? i have a dx so i'm going to try and find some control arms with the holes, also do you know of anything else i would need.. do i have to drill holes into the subframe to mount the bar?

leave the springs in. sway bars only help lateral loading. the springs will lower your ride hight and therefore center of gravity, help fight dive along with the shox and aid also in roll stifness. the thing with the front bar is it tries to lift the inside front tire off the groung. and when u have a spring thats stiff enough that the car realy doesn't lean anymore the bar tries to pick up the wheel because it has no body roll to equalize.
as for the rear bar install, u need the lca's because the holes are up, not through the arms. as for the chassis mounting, u'll need the brakets and bolts. the holes are already in the car along with the threads. i still have to get those bolts. dealer item i guess.

is that true with all cases of lowering? or is it just with higher spring rates and stiffer shocks, because my car isnt dropped that low
i do sometimes feel a "hopping" from the front when i go through a corner.. i was thinking it might be the lifting you were explaining..

its not how low the car is but how stiff the springs are. i don't know what rates u have so i don't know if no front bar will work for u. i have heard of stock suspension guys taking the front bar out. i don't know about that, but u could always just try it and see how the car feels.
