Default Arizona Type-R's, need a quick favor

Will some of you guys check to see if either of your front seats has a popping feeling. Push on it with your lower back (preferably when the car is a little warm) and see if you feel a popping inside of it.

My seat is popping; dealer fixed it; now it is popping again and they claim it happens on all Type-R seats.

Dunno when the next one is; whenever people want to have one.

I am a little reluctant to set one up jut because most of the AZ people never show or are too busy. Not like Chicago meets; drop of a hat we could have 15 R's show up; here in AZ we gotta get on people's asses about it, etc.

I've never noticed any kind of popping from the seats, sorry chris. Do you think it has something to do with the heat?

What did the dealership say it was the first time? Just bring it back and tell them to try it again

I didn't see you there today. Kamin and I had our own little mini meet. It was fun- we raced a little, roasted marshmellows over the black top, you know the usual summer antics.

mine pop s a little too. But not enough for me to take it in and get it fixed. I was wondering if it may be something to do with the lumbar adjustment and how it functions.

When they fixed before they said it was from the lumbar system moving forward and backward. They fixed it by preventing it from doing that but apparently it wasn't fixed for good.

Well, just bring it back again. Maybe your fat *** is too much for those poor seats to handle. If the max capacity is anything around 140 lbs., you're screwed

Yeah, try running your ITR for a few minutes to let all the coolant flow out, and THEN do that popping trick.

Mine doesnt pop at all (yes i have ITR seats). I also don't see how warming up the car would have anything to do with the seat making noises.

Not rice.

BTW, no popping here. Check your seat fluid and rail pressure gauges.

My seat pops like crazy! It is more prominent when I have the lumbar adjusted out, but it makes no difference if the car is warmed up ot not. It's loud all of the time.

Is this something that is covered under warrenty??

I'm not in AZ, but my driver's seat does have the popping sound. I fixed this by putting a race seat in the car.
