Default Roll Cage Help,

ok, I've got a 00 civic ex coupe and am looking for a good strong reliable roll cage, wait is a factor, but it does not over come safety, does anyone have any suggestions?

i got a four point in my hatch. Its by autopower. Weights 50 pounds. other than the weight i like it.

i put an 8 point milled steel one in my coupe (94) it cost me 150 and it came with the mounting plates, i installed it, it was a weld in cage

DO NOT BUILD YOUR OWN unless it conforms to the rules that you will be racing under. Might as well buy Monkey Bars then.

weight savings shouldnt really be any concern in a RACE car and CAGE

is this for a street ONLY car ? why not just a rollbar ?

you can do more damage than good with a fullcage in a street car , just make sure its padded ALOT

I rocked a full cage in a street car..it got old after about an hour. Extremely unsafe, too. IMO, I think you`ll be fine w/ a 4-point bar.

I just want the side impact support, just incase some one hits me from the side, I've seen some nasty wrecks, and most ofthe time thepeople who were crushed were not at fault

Hrm. If you're not wearing a helmet a full cage can be worse than no cage. Hitting your head in a rollover without a helmet can kill ya too.

Yeah, but wouldn't the sparcos and the five point harnesses hold you in the seat?
