Default car turns off

I will be driving down the road and the car will just shut off if I smack the fuse panel cover with my hand it will starty running again.

That is if I am driving dodwn the road it shuts off I will leave it in gear and not depress the clutch. When I smack the fuse panel cover it keeps on going like there isnt a problem.

It only does it every now and then. What is down there that would cause this issue?

I have searched but coulndt get a good iea on where to start and what to start replacing other thast the main relay and that is down by the kick panel.

It really sounds like you might have answered your own question.

go to a pick and pull and grab a new fuse panel and try that out.

I assume you have checked all the fuses are properly seated and in good shape right?

Edit: you also might want to maybe just pull the drivers seat out, get a good look at everything under the dash and be sure there are no pinched wires anywhere and everything is plugged in snug in the ignition module.

also check for old alarm installations and ghetto pieced together wiring. I had a CRX I got for 600 dollars that was worth a lot more because they couldn't figure out why it stalled out all the time, turns out the ignition wires were spliced together from an alarm and it kept disconnecting from half *** installation.
